Our June meeting is the annual competition and display night, where members bring in their trees to exhibit, whether part of the competition or not.
There are two classes for the competition:
1. The Nick Jacobs Trophy is awarded for the best member's tree as voted for by members of the club present at the meeting.
2. The Open Competition
The majority of the trees on display are not in the competitions as such. We use this night to just enjoy looking at and learning from the trees.
The results of the competition for this year's Nick Jacobs were as follows:
in 1st place: Kevin B's Chamaecyparis Boulevard
in 2nd Dave C's Juniperus squamata
in 3rd Sally M's Berberis
