Newbury and District Bonsai Society: October 2025

The October meeting was a workshop together with a talk about displaying trees to their best effect

WELCOME

Newbury and District Bonsai Society meet monthly (except January) on the first Wednesday at Speen Parish Hall, Newbury.

Most of our meetings involve hands-on workshops where members bring their own trees to work on, with practical advice on styling and development can be sought from the more experienced members of the club. We usually have a topic of bonsai culture for discussion, presentation and/or demonstration. We always have an area for the display of members’ trees as well as a table for the offer of any bonsai-related things (trees. tools, pots and sundries).

We have several all-day workshops at weekends and we exhibit at local and national events.

We have a membership of about twenty, with a wide range of experience, so whether you are a beginner or have been with bonsai for a long time, you are likely to enjoy our club. If you are interested, please coming along to see us: get in touch via newbury.bonsai@btinternet.com
