Another Gold At The Newbury Show

The Society again won a gold medal for their stand in the flower tent.

Visitors to the stand enjoyed the demonstrations being performed on both days and plenty of questions from the public were answered.

Many thanks to all those involved in setting up the stand and manning it at the show. The trees displayed were once again of a very high standard.

Visit Newbury and District Bonsai Society Stand at the Royal County of Berkshire Show.

We will once again have a Bonsai display stand at the Royal County of Berkshire Show at Newbury Showground on the weekend of the 20th and 21st September.














Our stand will be located in the Flower tent. Members of the Society will be on hand to give you help and advice on the art and practice of bonsai.

Roots Bonsai Show

Newbury and District Bonsai Society held their third show at Roots garden centre on Sunday 6th July.

Many thanks to all of the societies and traders who were able to make the event and to Roots for again allowing us to host the event there. Below is a picture of the Newbury stand.

Just a quick reminder that there will be a Lee Verhorevoort workshop on Saturday 10th May. For those who have never been before it is a great opportunity to have Lee work on your trees and gain from his vast experience with Bonsai. £20 for the day or £5 to observe for the whole or part of the day - bargain!
