Dec 2024 - Penjing

 The December meeting is a slight departure from the norm for our club meetings - it is still about miniature representations of the natural things, but more than just trees.  It was a talk about Penjing followed by plenty of time to create our own landscapes.

The Nick Jacobs Trophy

The annual Nick Jacobs trophy is awarded for the best member's tree as voted for by members of the club present at the meeting.  The trees have to have been styled by members from seed, nursery stock or collected material - professionally styled material is not allowed to be entered.

The results of the competition for this year's Nick Jacobs were as follows:
